Deep knowledge of Brazilian rhythms, he began his career in the percussion studies at the Costa de Prata Samba School in Ovar - Portugal, where it is today.
Participated in workshops with Marcos Suzano, Bernardo Aguiar and Gabriel Policarpo. He began to play professionally with Pedro Moura (brother of Gabriel Moura and nephew of the late maestro Paulo Moura). Since then, he has played, recorded and collaborated with several artists such as Jair Rodrigues, Sombrinha, Pedro Miranda, Luiza Dionísio, Karla da Silva, Luís Filipe de Lima, Dirceu Leite, Eduardo Neves, Humberto Araújo, Leandro Braga, Beto Cazes, Tércio Borges, Gabriel Godoi, Wellington Monteiro, Henrique Neto, Cláudio Andrade, Fred Martins, Jon Luz, Ricardo Quinteira, Anders Perander, Norton Daiello, Rob Curto, Michael.. Silva, Nuno Bastos, Raspa de Tacho, Roda de Choro de Lisboa, 100 Years of Samba Tribute, Samba Democrats, Samba Que te Canto, Grupo Samba Lêlê, Grupo Papo de Samba entre others.
He has participated in several music festivals in Portugal such as Brazillian Day, Doc Lisboa, Autonalidades, Festival of A.C.E.R.T. World Songs CPLP Cultural Week, Fest In, Faial Filmes Fest, Dias da Música em Belém - CCB, Festival Raizes do Atlântico, MegaSamba but also in international festivals such as the Festival of Arts and Culture between China and the Portuguese-speaking countries (Macao) Chora Brussels Festival (Belgium) Bar Brasil Carnival Cruise (Sweden).
Together with Tércio Borges and Gabriel Godoi, it is also a of the founders of the Clube do Choro de Lisboa.
